First of all it is a very colorful hotel ,lots of pantings ,nice colores in the room ,not dull.. The staff is very very nice ,,very day change of bed sheets etc ,,I stayed there 4 time a and I travel a lot to P.v or other places .it is a good place and not to exspencive ,5 blockes from the beach ,,,,,I must say it is a littel noisy but note P.v is a very very noisey town it a party town the zona romantica ,,if you dont like noise go to pointe nita
The noise and stairs. Had to carry my owm bag up 3 flights of stairs.
It is a bright and cozy hotel. Very intelligent owners. Good location.
It is very noisy here. Especially in the external rooms.
Perfect for a budget traveler. They even upgraded my room to a kitchenette for no additional charge so they made a great first impression. Great location that gives you more of an authentic Mexico feel but is still within a lot of great tourist spots as well like the Iglesia and the Malecon. There's a lot of great street food in the area and I noticed a few tiendas that a offered laundry services nearby. Sure, it's on a busy street and there can be a lot of noise, but I've often found that loud music from your neighbors, random gatherings of spirited people and just locals hanging out as they hawk their goods is a fun part of the Mexican culture that is really different from what most of us are used to. I enjoy it but I can definitely understand how first time Mexico visitors or people that have only stayed at high priced all inclusive type hotels might be sensitive to it.
Free bottled water in the hall was great. Beautiful art work. kitchen and balcomy were very nice Location in romantic zone was perfect close to beach, malecon and shopping as well as bus route.
The beds were rock hard Bring some earplugs can be noisy if on street side.
Great location in the middle of PV's Zona Romantica. Lots of great places in walking distance - best beaches, public markets, old town, river park, boardwalk, restaurants of all sorts from taco stands to formal dining, from mainly tourists only to locals' favorites. Staff was friendly and efficient. Fun and tasteful art theme throughout hotel and rooms. Great view over town towards ocean. Spectacular sunsets. Incredible value for the money.
Street noise. This didn't bother us much because we knew it would be an urban experience on one of the busiest streets in Old Vallarta. The many public buses can be noisy, but eventually it just washed off us as though being near the surf.
